BSB20107 Certificate II in Business (Hospitality Stream)

This stream has a special emphasis on the Hospitality sector and includes the following imported hospitality units:

• Develop and Update Hospitality Industry Knowledge
• Apply Hospitality skills in the workplace

In addition to the core subjects covered by the business qualification, you will learn about the hospitality industry and will develop your customer service and communication skills, along with a range of real world skills that are relevant to the industry
today. You will also learn how to present yourself for work in this industry.

Working in the hospitality industry involves:

• Preparing and serving beverages
• Providing food and beverage service in a range of settings
• Operate and maintain a bar
• Providing quality customer service
• Provide responsible service of alcohol

Occupations in the hospitality industry include:

• Bar assistant - bar manager
• Events coordinator - conference manager
• Food & beverage manager

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

Course will be delivered face-to-face. Assessment will be through written tests, project work & practical exercises. Assessments are competency based. That mean our qualified trainiers will help you through your course until you are competent and able to qualify for your certificate.
