I’ve had a terrible problem my entire life, which has plagued me day after day. What’s my problem? It’s that my facial hair grows at three times the speed of a normal man’s. This would be great if I wanted to grow an awesome beard, but I don’t. Honestly, I wish I didn’t grow facial hair at all. I spend hours a week shaving, getting the cut hairs in my sink. Do you know how many times I’ve had to get a plumber out in the last year to fix blockages? Thank goodness there are quality plumbers for blocked drains near Essendon, otherwise, I’d be in a lot of trouble.
One of the reasons I don’t want much facial hair is because I do a lot of running. As a man without real legs, I need to minimise the distractions I face while sprinting along the track, otherwise, I can quickly find myself in a tough situation. I’m so glad that I have some prosthetics that allow me to keep running. I love the feel of the wind in my hair, provided it’s not a beard. I hated having facial hair even before I lost my legs, because it just feels uncomfortable when I run. Back then, I lived in the Bayside area, and let me tell you, finding a good plumber for drain repairs close to Brighton was not easy. When I found the right plumber, though, that made my life so much easier.
People ask me how I get through life with the challenges I face on a daily basis, and the truth is that sometimes I feel like the detached head of a doll that has been painted pure white. I can’t really explain it, but that’s how I feel. I know it doesn’t make sense, but it’s the truth. You want to avoid that feeling no matter what, and running helps me with that. If you’re looking to revitalise your life, I’d suggest getting into running. Especially if you’re feeling like a ghostly white doll’s head. Nobody should feel like that.
